About Chicago Climate Connect

Our Events

Founded in 2023, Chicago Climate Connect is a community of 1,500+ climate-minded Chicagoans across policy, business, tech, education, and grassroots movements. We host monthly in-person events that blend intentional networking with panels, fireside chats, and structured programming.

Our mission is to build critical mass and momentum around climate action in Chicago by making climate spaces more accessible, collaborative, and connected. Whether you're working in climate, exploring a career shift, investing in solutions, or just eager to learn - you’re welcome here.

Our Team

Our events are hosted by Mackenzie Siren, Matt Pryor, Michael Boeke, and Sunil Mahadeshwar - climate-minded Chicagoans who saw a need for a cross-collaborative community open to all, not just those already working in climate. They’re united by a commitment to building a more connected, inclusive, and action-oriented climate community in Chicago.

Our Partners

We partner with a variety of investors, nonprofits, academic institutions, startup accelerators, and community organizations to host events and spotlight the incredible climate work happening across Chicago. Some of our partners include mHUB, gener8tor, Current, TechNexus, Climate Changemakers, the Polsky Center at the University of Chicago, and the Baumhart Center for Social Enterprise and Responsibility at the Loyola University.

We’re always looking to collaborate with more local organizations - if you’re interested in partnering on events or content, we’d love to connect.
